Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
